The Union MZ Company, Pozarevac is considered to be among those companies that improve their business step by step, in an organized and resolute manner, growing and developing continually. The company was founded in 1992. In the beginning it traded in farm machinery, equipment and raw materials.
The business was soon expanded to include trade of food products-shops were opened in the towns of Pozarevac, Kostolac and later in Majdanpek and the neighboring villages got three grocery stores.Union MZ company renovated the neglected abandoned cattle farm in Aleksandrovac and organized poultry fattening there – 40000 broilers in one shift.
A slaughterhouse and then meat-processing plant, which daily delivers tones and tones of top-quality products, naturally followed the re-opened of the farm. A great number of the delicatessens made in this facilities from poultry and other kinds of meat, were awarded with the highest rewards and medals of the International Agriculture Fair in Novi Sad, and on the other fairs.

Bearing that in mind, Union MZ also took over pig farms in Petrovac, Mustapic and Trnovce, with capacity of 50000 fattening pigs a yaer.

Next to production of quality fattening pigs and quality breeding material Union MZ can praise also with its own Fodder Plant in Petrovac on Mlava river ( capacity of 250 carload finished concentrated mixture per month ), Slaughterhouse in Rabrovo ( capacity of 500 fattening pigs in class, or 100 young cows or 1000 lambs per day ), its own Veterinary Service in Trnovce near to town Velika Plana etc.
